AT’s Photo Spotlight
The 2006 Chevrolet HHR certainly draws styling inspiration from Suburbans of yore. It answers the question: “just what would 1949 styling look like if manufactured today?”.

We brought you news of Chevy’s limited edition 2011 Corvette ZO6 Carbon a little bit ago, but GM would only share a pair of photos at the time. Thankfully, they’ve remedied that problem. Click into the post to see more detail shots of the Carbon in all its menacing glory! Read more…
Santa Claus left us a nice present under the tree! But he also failed to realize that a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette on summer tires delivered in late December makes for a slippery, and sometimes scary, test of GM’s amazing StabiliTrak.
There are not too many days that go by that the editors here at the AT ranch don’t start a conversation with something like: “You know what would make the ZO6 even sweeter” or “Do you suppose Bob Lutz would take me for a ride in his jet figther?” Well, today one of those fantasies came true, and I can assure you no one at the office received a phone call from Maximum Bob! And determined to get feedback on their handiwork, GM hooked us up with back-to-back samplings of the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Here’s how they fared. Read more…
A Little Bit 1949
Ever wonder what a 1949 Chevrolet Suburban would look like had it been designed in 2006. Well someone at GM did and the proof sits my driveway. Well, a cute bite-sized, economical representation anyways (I think in candy bar speak the term is “fun” size). Read more…
