Automotive Trends PODCAST Episode 11

September 23rd, 2010 No comments

In Episode 11 we try to focus our admittedly short attention spans on the exciting new 2011 models coming from Chrysler plus all the news leaking out ahead of this year’s Paris Auto Show, but along the way we somehow managed to pick up a few trivial topics to keep things unpredictable. Or our ADHD flared up and we’re simply trying to convince you everything discussed during our podcasts is intentional. Either way, did you know Chrysler has marketed three unibody pickups over the years? Well you will learn that and much more if you can focus your attention on the 55 minutes and 4 seconds of auto-related conversation that is available after the jump. Read more…

If you’re scouring the Internet for a classy podcast that will simultaneously educate and enlighten Google has definitely dropped the ball on you. However, if you’re content with eavesdropping on three car guys chatting about Everything Automotive then you’re in luck. Automotive Trends PODCAST Episode 9

August 11th, 2010 No comments

The debate was lively and the conversation broad as this week’s topics ranged from Viper-powered pickups to tooth loss. Yes, it takes a certain skill set to weave such diverse comments together, but with nine episodes under our belts we’re starting to fancy ourselves professionals. Fair warning: you’ll have to set aside more than the usual hour to make it through Episode 9 of the podcast as your caffeine-fueled editors rambled on long after the hourglass ran dry. But trust us, this one is worth it. Read more…

Of course, we also run down the good and bad about what we’ve been driving lately and find time to make fun of Editor Muxlow, making Episode 8 a gem of a podcast. But don’t take our word for it. Click through to eavesdrop on more than an hour of boys talking about cars. Read more…

Automotive Trends PODCAST Episode 7

The crew had plenty to talk about this week, at least until technical difficulties shut down the whole operation in the middle of our recording session. No matter, equipment was replaced, settings were tweaked and at least two out of three editors regrouped a few days later to put the finishing touches on our latest round of brilliant banter. Click through to listen for yourself.  Read more…

Automotive Trends PODCAST Episode 6

June 21st, 2010 No comments

It’s been a few weeks since the gang last chimed in but we’ve got plenty to say in Episode 6 as we chat about video games, minivans, cars that grow with every revision and why 510hp can make a leather-lined luxury tank seem worth its $100k asking price. Senior Editor Muxlow may have spent much of the podcast with farm machinery on the brain–we think his recent lawn mower purchase is to blame–but at the end of the 54 minutes cars still ruled the day. So click through and never fear: we’ll get Muxlow back on his meds and return next week with even more useless banter. Read more…
